Message For example the Porsche GT2 dipstick is designed to be check with the engine running. But most dipsticks are designed to be accurate when all the oil has drained back into the oil pan. Before I go checking my oil level after a few minutes of driving, I would like to see where it says in the owner's manual that the Z32 dipstick is designed to measure the level when the engine is warm.
